Diamond Pacific-Placerville: The Gem of the Foothills

Our branch is located 45 miles east of Sacramento right off of Hwy 50 in the Sierra Foothills with easy access for our customers. Our large green “DIAMOND PACIFIC” sign can be seen as you drive by in either direction.

Diamond Pacific Placerville was acquired from Diamond Lumber in 1990 and today still has that same small hometown lumber yard feel. Our yard is daily visited by a full range of customers from our everyday contractor, to weekend warriors, and our inventory reflects this with the wide selection of building materials we carry in stock. For example, we carry: lumber products 2x-4x-6x Doug Fir, a full assortment of panel products, roofing materials and accessories, siding products, redwood decking, composite decking (Trex, Fiberon & TimberTech), insulation, wallboard, masonry, power tools, and all the necessary hardware to build or remodel your home. When necessary, we are fortunate to have many other Pacific Supply yards around to help us always get what we need for our customers.

My name is Vince Butera and I have been with Diamond Pacific since January of 2018 and have enjoyed every moment with my team. I have been happily married for 13 years to my wife Amy, and have two sons, Austin, 10, and Travis, 8. We are very active in sports since both of our boys play soccer, football, and baseball. As a family we love to go boating on the lake or fishing at a nearby river.

Below is the team I am very privileged to work with everyday; I want to take this opportunity to publicly thank them all for their hard work:

Joshua Wood is our Logistics Manager. Josh has been with our company since September 2005. He has developed through our organization starting with us as a Material Handler then Yard Forman, Driver and ultimately promoted in July 2011 to Logistics Manager. Josh has been a huge part to the success of our branch through his leadership and his ability to create deep customer and employee relationships that are still very active today.

Christine Everett is our Operations Manager and started with us in February 2005. Christine came to us as a Counter Sales employee and quickly developed into the Inside Sales Manager position and ultimately, in 2015, to our Operations Manager. Christine has done a great job driving relationships and ensuring every detail and commitment is met with our customers. Christine drives successes here every day by coaching and training new employees, and has built a very strong and loyal customer base.

Morgan Nichols is our new Outside Salesperson. Morgan started with us in June 2017 as a driver and due to an extensive sales background he quickly moved to Inside Sales and onto Outside Sales earlier this year. We appreciate Morgan’s flexibility, since he can be driving one minute and selling the next… many times all in the same day!

Our Inside Sales staff has over 24 years of combined Diamond experience. Jed Ronzone has been with us since May 2004. He has held many positions from Material Handler, Yard Foreman, Dispatcher and most recently, Inside Sales. David Dodd has been with us since June 2013. David has a concrete background and demonstrates daily the importance of driving success through relationships. Joe Moody has been with us since July 2015. Joe was a contractor customer prior to his employment here and enjoys helping customers build their dreams. In the office, we have Mariah Ausk as our Inside Service Representative. Mariah has been with us since June 2017 and not only helps behind the scenes but also at the sales counter. Tim Dent started with us in February 2018 and Rob Rodni started with us in March 2018. Both have industry experience and have been great additions to the team.

Our delivery staff is always busy and on the go making deliveries from Sacramento to Tahoe and all places in between. Rick Mastro has been with us since March 2010. Rick transferred to us from the Templeton yard and has been a great addition to our team. Ron Rees has been with us since April 2016 and literally drives all our trucks on any given day (roof truck, piggy back and roll off). Ron is always willing to help in the yard or out on the road. Parker Penner has been with us since February and is developing his career by learning from our experienced team.

In the yard, we have Roy Wehe at the gate. Roy has been with us since May 2004 and is the first and last face you see in the yard. Roy started as a Material Handler then went into a Yard Foreman position and onto his current position at the gate. Our yard staff is busy helping customers, building loads and keeping a safe and efficient yard. Leading the yard team is Cash Kaiser, our Yard Supervisor. Cash has been with us since January 2017 and started as a Material Handler. Due to his focus on service and leadership he was promoted to Yard Supervisor in February. Cash has a great can-do attitude and brings a safe and service oriented outlook to work every day. Dustin Estrada is a Material Handler who has been with us since February 2015. Dustin is very well known by our customers as the always friendly guy who goes out of his way to help…customers seek him out by name. Alongside Dustin we have Peter Yoho, who has been with us since December 2017. Peter’s willingness to do anything to help the team and customers is appreciated. Newer additions Adam Shipee who was hired in March, and Richard Harlow, who came aboard in April, have done very well meeting the needs of our customers and acclimating to the team during our busy season.
