A Tradition of Caring

Corporate Giving

Company founder Fred Anderson and his wife, Pat, set an early example for service to their community and helping those less fortunate. Pacific Coast Building Products (PCBP) has expanded upon that tradition through its employees’ tireless community involvement and the company’s generous charitable gifts. President/CEO Dave Lucchetti is deeply involved in children’s causes, as well as many other community and charitable activities. His example and active support of employee community involvement have encouraged others throughout the family of companies to do as much as possible for the communities the various subsidiaries and their locations serve.

The companies' many employees needed no encouragement. Many are already active in their communities, but with PCBP behind them leveraging their efforts, groups of employees organize task forces to meet an even wider variety of community needs. Today, nearly every branch from Hawaii to Oklahoma, British Columbia to Arizona regularly reaches out to those less fortunate in its area. Philanthropy is at the core of the Pacific Coast Bulding Products' culture.

In 2018, Adopt-A-Family celebrates its 25th year. This internal program was developed as a company-wide community outreach program. Throughout the year, locations fundraise internally through barbeques, raffles, snack & drink sales, craft fairs, bake sales, toy drives, football pools-any imaginative way to have fun while raising money for a good cause. In the most recent year, overall fundraising has been adequate to meet the needs of over 80 families, helping more than 600 children.
